Bulk Billed Children’s Dental Care Under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule
At Craigieburn Dental Surgery, we bulk bill eligible children’s dental treatment under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), so families can access quality dental care in Craigieburn with no out of pocket costs for covered services.
The CDBS is a government program that helps eligible families cover the cost of essential dental care for children aged 0 to 17. Eligible children can receive a capped benefit amount over two calendar years for a range of basic dental services, including:

X rays
Cleaning and scale and clean
Fissure sealing
Fillings
Root canal treatment
Extractions
Is my child eligible?
Your child may be eligible if they are aged 0 to 17, are eligible for Medicare, and your family receives Family Tax Benefit Part A or another eligible government payment. You can check your child’s eligibility and remaining balance through your Medicare online account or by contacting Services Australia.

Our general dental services include scaling and cleaning, gum disease prevention, X-rays to check for decay, fillings, root canal treatment and oral surgery for wisdom tooth extraction.
